Landscape Artist of the Year Comes to Margam Country Park.
We’re delighted to announce that Landscape Artist of the Year will be filming here on Monday 29th June.
This upcoming series introduces a brand new format. Ten artists will travel across the country to take on landscape challenges in different locations, returning week after week to create new work. In each episode, one artist will be eliminated, giving those who progress the opportunity to develop their practice over time.
For the Margam episode, the artists will be set against the striking backdrop of Margam Castle, capturing its character and surroundings as the cameras roll.
Members of the public are welcome to come along and watch the filming taking place. You are encouraged to bring a sketch pad and enjoy the creative atmosphere of the day.
Please note:
- Filming takes place on Monday 29th June
- Entry is free, normal parking charges apply
- Photography of artists or artwork is not permitted during filming
