Throughout the year, the park hosts various events ranging from Living History Weekends to Children's Craft Activities to Bank Holiday Fun Days to Charity Walks. Check out the list below to see a selection of the events that the Park has to offer.
Where an event states it is a SPECIAL EVENT DAYS a 'separate entry charge' applies to Park entry, on these days there is NO free entry (a per person charge will apply rather than free entry and a car Parking charge) (Examples of SPECIAL EVENT DAYS INCLUDE- GREAT BRITISH FOOD FESTIVAL, BANK HOLIDAY FUN DAYS).

Saturday 17th January ArchaeoMargam Talk at Margam Abbey Church - Archaeology talk about recent findings at Margam abbey and park. 10.15am and 1.15pm. Book a ticket here.
Saturday 14th February Kidzfun - Paint your own VALENTINES pottery or create a valentines sand art card or bottle. Prices start from £4.50. Meet in the Castle. 11am-3pm
Sunday 15th February
- DISCOVER BIRDS with the Friends of Margam Park. Pop along and make a birdfeeder, lots more bird themed craft activities. Great fun for all. Free activities – donations welcome. Meet in the Castle. 11-12.30 and 1.30-3
- Junior Photography Walk with the 'Friends of Margam Photography Group'. With a focus on nature and the landscape, come along to develop your skills. All welcome. Parents to stay with children. Bring your own camera or phone. Meet in the Castle at 10.30 (approx. 2 hours)
Monday 16th February SUPERHERO SCIENCE Ever wanted to grow and shrink things, make goo that stretches for days, or see objects move without being touched? Our 1-hour Superhero Science Workshop is packed with WOW moments, messy fun and mind-bending experiments that look like magic… but are actually powered by science! 👧🧒 Suitable for children aged 5+ Sessions ⏰10:00 & 12:00 Suitable for ages 4+, adults must stay with children but no adult ticket needed. Wednesday 18th February
- Scrumptious Stories Come along for whizzbanging Roald Dahl themed storytelling with Paul Doyle from Neath Port Talbot Libraries. Sessions start at 11.30, 12.30 and 1.30. (approx. 30 mins) Meet in the Castle.
- Kidzfun– Dinosaurs and Unicorns... Paint your own pottery, various design available, also create a sand art bottles or sand card. In the castle 11– 3.
Thursday 19th February
- A Royal Adventure Awaits! Story Time with the Princesses Step into a world of magic as our beautiful princesses share enchanting tales in Welsh and English! Sit back, listen, and join in the fun as the stories come to life with glitter wishes, song and dance. In the castle. Sessions start at 11.30, 12.30, 1.30 and 2.30 (approx. 30 mins)

Bones Workshop 10.30-12 Discover the wonderful world of bones and what we can learn from them. Analyse the bones of different animals and understand different structures and what clues they give us about the animal's life.
Fossil Finders Workshop 12.30-2 Analyse shingle and rock to discover different types of fossils. Learn more about how rocks form and how fossils can teach us about our world and how it's changed.
Owl Science Workshop 2.30-3.30 Learn more about owls and their science and take a closer look into their amazing adaptations. Learn about feathers, their diet, their features and the evidence they leave behind.
