Throughout the year, the park hosts various events ranging from Living History Weekends to Children's Craft Activities to Bank Holiday Fun Days to Charity Walks. Check out the list below to see a selection of the events that the Park has to offer. 

Where an event states it is a SPECIAL EVENT DAYS  a 'separate entry charge'  applies to Park entry, on these days there is NO free entry (a per person charge will apply rather than free entry and a car Parking charge) (Examples of  SPECIAL EVENT DAYS INCLUDE- GREAT BRITISH FOOD FESTIVAL, BANK HOLIDAY FUN DAYS)

This summer we celebrate 50 years of ABBA with a special outdoor cinema screening of Mamma Mia! at Margam Country Park The story of a bride-to-be trying to find her real father told using hit songs from everyone's favourite Swedish pop group, ABBA! Plus music from the 70s & 80s to enjoy before the film, with a soundtrack of disco and party classics. Gates open 8.15pm, film starts shortly after sunset. Wild Sundays are a great way to end the week, with wildlife fun for all the ages! 11am-12pm - Young Wildlife Rangers (free). 1pm-2pm - 'Wildlife Walk'; discovering what wildlife lives around the Castle grounds (free). 2pm-3pm - 'Pond Dipping' discovering the underwater world of our lake (free), 3.30pm-4.30pm - Nature craft activities in the Castle (£1 donation). Meet in the Castle Visitor Courtyard.

Expecto patronum! A magical outdoor cinema experience at Margam Park with a showing of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Let us take you into the wizarding world of Harry Potter. The first installment of boy wizard Harry Potter's adventures at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry learns the truth about himself, his family and the terrible evil that haunts the magical world. 'JK Rowling’s schoolboy sorcerer provides the quickest, zappiest two and a half hours of entertainment you’ll ever see.' (The Guardian) Gates open 8.15pm, film starts shortly after sunset. Come and enjoy a fantastic show with Siani Sionc the Superhero at 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm in the Castle. Plenty of dancing, singing and fun! There will also be crafts with Menter Iaith Castell-nedd Port Talbot for you to enjoy and a special visit from Magi Ann. Free.
